Description: Jacques Cazotte (1719-1792) was a French writer and occultist. He was born in Dijon and studied law in Paris. He was a man of letters and a friend of Voltaire and Rousseau. He was also a Freemason and a member of the Illuminati. In 1792, he was arrested and executed by the guillotine during the French Revolution.
